In the summer of 2016 I was accepted into the selective NASA SEES high school internship program. There, I located near-Earth asteroids in telescope images. This data was put into the Minor Planet Center database and used by astronomers to improve accuracy of calculated orbits of these objects. Additionally during this internship we had many interesting activities, such as a tour of the Johnson Space Center and the construction of Dobsonian telescopes. I have chosen to use pictures from our trip to the JSC to illustrate this experience. My group's final presentation can be seen here.
